I'm Ben. I work with people buying their first rental and people adding to a portfolio they've spent years building. Either way, I want to understand the property and your plan before talking products.
How I got here
I came to real estate through construction.
My parents came here from Romania, and hard work was all we knew. I grew up doing general construction. Working with my hands taught me a lot, and I saw the good and the bad that comes with working with contractors.
I wanted to be the person with equity in the deal and ownership in the property, not just the one rehabbing it. That's what got me interested in real estate.
When I got into mortgage lending, I noticed how often people were afraid to think outside the box. I'm willing to look at a deal from a different angle, but I still want to do things the right way.

Real estate investing rarely fits a neat checklist. A rental purchase, a renovation, and a cash-out refinance all have different risks, timelines, and goals. I look at your situation, talk through the options, and tell you what each one actually means.
That might be a DSCR loan, a HELOC, a fix-and-flip loan, or something else. I don't expect you to know which one to ask for. That's what our first conversation is for.
